Fleur de sel is the lightest, most ephemeral. Its production is dictated by water, sun and wind, and its harvest is a matter of hours before the flakes fall.

The flor de Sal in the Salinas de la Concepción crystallises and dries only thanks to the wind and the sun. It is harvested by hand without the use of machinery or fossil fuels.
It provides numerous mineral salts and trace elements such as magnesium, potassium, calcium and iron. Its delicate crystallisation process allows it to dissolve quickly, offering an extraordinary and balanced mild salty flavour.
The packaging is plastic-free and complies with sustainable production guidelines. It is fully recyclable and is manufactured entirely in Spain. -
Fleur de sel crystals are rapidly formed due to the difference in density between the brine and salt crystals. They emerge to the surface of the crystallizers, where they form thin sheets due to the wind.
Fleur de sel has a mild salty flavor and dissolves pleasantly in the mouth due to its high solubility and low sodium chloride content.
Salt in Menorca
The salt-making tradition of the island of Menorca dates back to the 14th century. In 1303, Dalmau Sagarriga, royal lieutenant of the Kingdom of Mallorca, declared that the collection of salt for personal use would be free on the island of Menorca.
